This year, the Section Officer election also includes a vote on the ratification of revised Section Bylaws. The changes in the AIAA Constitution voted upon by the entire AIAA membership 3 years ago have made the Bylaws of the San Francisco Section (and all Sections across the Institute) outdated and out of compliance, as they refer to the old AIAA Bylaws and the structures of the past AIAA governance model, which no longer exist under the new AIAA Constitution.
